and Carriacou, we are not travel agents and, therefore, cannot stay up
to date with the frequent schedule changes being made these days
by the airlines. If you rent Tamarind Cottage, we will do our best to
help you find convenient arrangements.
From the US
From the East Coast/New York City:
- Air Jamaica no longer flies to Grenada. This
service has been taken over by Caribbean Airlines, which now has a
direct flight, Wednesday and Saturday, from JFK to Grenada.
- A fantastic new addition is the Delta flight (once a week on
Saturday) from JFK. This flight gets you to the beach by early morning.
And on the return lets you spend most of the day still in the sun.
- Caribbean Airlines also has a flight from JFK to Trinidad where you can
catch a LIAT flight to Grenada in time for the afternoon ferry/flight to
Carriacou.
- Another way to get to Grenada is via Barbados with JetBlue, where you can catch a flight to Grenada.
From just about anywhere in the US:
American Airlines has connections to Grenada via one of its hubs in
Miami or San Juan, PR. American has changed its schedule so you only
have to spend one night in Grenada. (The return flight AA2168 leaves GND
for MIA at 9:55 AM, but is hard to find)
